之震惊,无疑中国也是巨大的电子商务消费市场,而其中,无锡也是一个巨大的消费市场。所以说跨境电

商,例如伊贝和沃尔玛,也不会放过这个机会,纷纷进入无锡,设立分公司。事实上,这些跨境电商也有

优点和缺点。所以面对跨境电商的“攻势”,我们也要从中吸取经验,学习跨境电商的优点,摒弃其缺点,

为本国跨境电商提供便利,从而促进其可持续发展。

The Advantages and the Disadvantages of Cross-Border E-Commerce--Take Wuxi as an Example

Abstract: With the development of the times, more and more people tend to buy goods on the Internet, all of us can see the rapid development on the e-commerce, especially in China. It is without doubt that China is a huge market and Wuxi is surly a large market in China so the cross-border e-commerce such as E-bay and Walmart also grasp this chance, they set up branches in Wuxi, employ Chinese employees to fight with Chinese e-commerce. Actually, they have lots of advantages, including their congenital advantages and so on. However, there are also many disadvantages on them. So, it’s important take the essence and discard the dross to promote its sustainable development.

1 Introduction

The rapid development of network provides great convenience for E-Commerce. At the same time, the Cross-Border E-Commerce is more and more frequently coming into our view. It has been a part of our life.

The Cross-Border E-Commerce, just as its name implies, is a kind of international business activity, which belongs to the trading subject of different customs, to reach transactions, pay and settle accounts through the electronic commerce platform, and to deliver goods through cross-border logistics and complete the trade. It has such characteristics as global forum, intangible, anonymous, instantaneously, paperless and rapidly evolving. The global forum, network is a media without boundary, which has the characteristics of global and non-centralization. Thecross-border e-commerce which is attached to the Internet also has the characteristics of global and non-centralization. Intangible, the development of network makes the transmission of digital products and services prevail. And digital transmission is carried out through different types of media, such as data, sound, and images in a globalized network environment, which appear in the form of computer data code in the network, and thus are invisible. Anonymous, due to the non-centralization and global forum of cross-border e-commerce, it is difficult to identify the identities and location of e-commerce users. Consumers in online trading often do not show their real identities and their geographical locations. It is important that this does not affect the transaction, and the anonymity of the network allows consumers to do so. Instantaneously, for the network, the speed of transmission is independent of geographic distance. Paperless, E-commerce mainly takes the form of paperless operation, which is the main feature of transactions in the form of e-commerce. In e-commerce, the computer communication records take the place of a series of paper transaction documents. Rapidly evolving, Internet is a new thing. At the present stage, it is still in its infancy. The future development of network facilities and corresponding software protocols is very uncertain. E-business activities based on the Internet are also in a fast-changing process. In the short decades, electronic transactions have experienced the rise of the retail industry from EDI to e-commerce, while digital products and services are new and constantly changing human life. In recent years, China's e-commerce has developed rapidly. Many cross-border e-commerce companies have found that China is a market with huge consumption potential and has entered China, such as Amazon, EBE and so on. But cross-border electricity providers also have their advantages and disadvantages. We should learn from them and provide convenience for the development of e-commerce in China.
