中西方文化意象差异对翻译的影响
摘要：随着我国对外开放进入新阶段，中国文化逐渐在世界各地兴起。越来越多的外国人开始关注中国， 学习汉语。然而因为各个国家的文化差异，外国人很难真正了解中国的语言特色。本文主要通过一些特殊 的意象文化差异来突出译者精确翻译的重要性，也提供了一些翻译的基本方法供译者学习。希望通过本文 进一步促进中西方文化交流。 关键词：文化差异；意象；翻译策略 The Influence of Cultural Imagery Differences between China and the West on Translation Abstract: With China's opening to the outside world entering a new stage, Chinese culture has gradually emerged all over the world. More and more foreigners begin to pay attention to China and learn Chinese. However, because of the cultural differences of different countries, it is difficult for foreigners to really understand the language characteristics of China. In this paper, the importance of accurate translation is highlighted through some special differences in image culture, and some basic methods of translation are also provided for the translator to learn. 1 Introduction Language is the shell of thinking and culture is the background of language. Specific language reflects peculiar cultural connotations. The cultural patterns of each country have distinct characteristics and obvious cultural differences. Different countries have their own special cultures. Human language is part of the tools for the inheritance of our national culture. The unique cultural characteristics of the clan are reflected in their language. With the progress of science, technology and economy, many countries have adopted a transnational economy, and the world is becoming a whole. This also makes numerous foreigners have a strong interest in Chinese culture. However, it is hard to really understand Chinese culture because of the language barrier. At this time, accurate translation becomes an important transportation hub. It not only helps foreigners understand Chinese culture, but also undertakes the responsibility of inheriting and developing it. In translating process, translators must master the source language and target language well.While translating the two languages, we must also understand the different forms of artistic expression of different nationalities. In the translation process, the source language must be involved and displayed. In the process of cultural translation, cultural image is the most abundant and difficult part. As a result of historical environment difference, cultural differences have been established. For the same phenomenon, people of different cultures sometimes use very different images to express it. The unique images of the dragon and Phoenix nationalities are unique to China, which has specific cultural connotations and become a special folk image. In order to effectively convey the cultural connotation of the source language, translator must accurately understand these specific cultural images .
