英语委婉语的语用失误研究
摘要：随着跨文化交流的日益频繁，英语委婉语越来越重要。由于不同文化背景下的人们对委婉语的理解有所偏差，因此常常会引起一些语用失误。这些失误会使交流存在障碍，甚至产生负面影响。本篇论文具体介绍了英语委婉语的部分功能，英语委婉语中的语用失误现象及其产生原因和相关解决方法。

A Study of Pragmatic Failures in English Euphemisms
Abstract: With the increasingly frequent cross-cultural communicate, English euphemisms become more and more important. Since people in different cultures have some deviations in understanding euphemisms, pragmatic failures often occur. These failures make communication difficult, worse still, they may have a negative impact. The thesis specifically introduces some functions of English euphemisms, pragmatic failures in English euphemisms and the causes and ways to deal with pragmatic failures in English euphemisms.
