浅析大学生英译汉过程中的常见问题及学习策略
摘要：随着世界经济的全球化，各国间的文化交流日益频繁，由此产生的翻译障碍也成为不可避免的问题。本课题以英译汉过程中存在的问题为中心，分析翻译问题产生的原因，探讨大学生英汉翻译学习策略。从多角度寻找分析中国大学生英译汉存在的问题及原因，尝试通过掌握一定的学习策略，减少英译汉过程中此类问题的产生。

A Brief Analysis of Common Problems and Learning Strategies of College Students’ English-Chinese Translation
Abstract: With the globalization of the world economy and the increasingly frequent cultural exchanges among countries, translation barriers have become an inevitable problem. This thesis focuses on the problems in the process of English-Chinese translation, analyzes the causes of translation problems, and discusses the learning strategies of English-Chinese translation for college students. This paper tries to find and analyze the existing problems and causes of Chinese college students’ English-Chinese translation from multiple perspectives, and tries to reduce the occurrence of such problems through mastering certain learning strategies.

1Introduction
With the promotion of China’s international status, it is inevitable that the country has intensified its diplomatic efforts. As a result, more and more translators are playing the role of language conversion in international affairs. Chinese universities have gradually set English translation course as a compulsory or optional course in order to find and cultivate a number of high-end talents in English translation. However, in the actual teaching process, people find that there are a series of problems in college English translation classroom teaching. If these problems cannot be effectively solved, there will be a serious crisis in our translation classroom teaching. Therefore, it is important for college student to learn the characteristics and difficulties. They can discover the problems and find the ways to solve them.
2Characteristics of English-Chinese Translation and Difficulties
2.1 Characteristics of English-Chinese Translation
Firstly, the character of translation is “Faithfulness”. It is means faithfulness of the original content and maintenance of the original style. Therefore, the ideological content of the original must not be changed in the translation process, translators are supposed to express the content, style, emotion, color through a variety of translation techniques. Translators should not use their own ideas，otherwise，the meaning and style of the original text will be destroyed. Secondly, the character of translation is “smooth”. It is means the original language must be easy to understand and conform to the norms. The translation must be smooth and avoid literal translation and stiff translation. Express the content of the original text properly, translator cannot not only change the meaning but also add or cut original text.
