摘要：简·奥斯汀是英国最受欢迎的女作家之一，其地位可与莎士比亚平起平坐。《傲慢与偏见》更是她的代表作，可以说是经久不衰。简奥斯汀擅长塑造英国绅士文化，分析《傲慢与偏见》可以让我们更加深刻的了解当时的绅士文化。现代社会中，人人都在强调为人处事应该绅士一点。但是他们对绅士的定义有理解上的偏差。真正的绅士可能没有帅气的外表，也没有腰缠万贯的家产，但他一定是一位懂得谦让并且勇于追求自己喜欢的东西的人。

Analysis of British gentleman culture from Pride and Prejudice
Abstract: Jane Austen is one of the most popular female writers, and her status can be equal to Shakespeare. Pride and Prejudice can be said to last forever as her masterpiece. Jane Austen is good at describing British gentleman culture. We can learn about gentleman culture at that time by analyzing Pride and Prejudice. In modern society, everyone is emphasizing that there should be more gentleman in the world. However, they have a misunderstanding of the definition of the word. A true gentleman may not have a handsome appearance, nor a wealthy family, while he must be a person who knows how to be humbly and has the courage to pursue what he likes.
