文化差异对英汉翻译的影响
摘要：英语是世界上使用最广泛的语言，是世界上最重要的国际语言之一，近几十年来，中国发生了巨大的变化，各方面发展迅速。我们必须向发达国家学习先进技术。这时，我们必须用英语。英语不是我们的母语。翻译肯定会有很多困难。在英汉翻译的难点中，文化因素占很大比例。语言和文化是不可分割的。本文主要从语言的角度探讨中西文化的差异。通过这项研究，我们不仅能够更好地理解中西文化，而且能够更深入地理解英汉翻译。

A discussion about the Influence of Cultural differences on English-Chinese Translation
Abstract: English is he most widely used language in the world, so it is one of the most important international languages in the world. China has undergone tremendous changes in recent decades, and has developed rapidly in all aspects. We must learn advanced technology from developed countries. At this time, we must use English. English is not our mother tongue. It is certain that there will be many difficulties in translation. Among the difficulties in English-Chinese translation, cultural factors account for a large part. Language and culture are inseparable. This paper mainly discusses the cultural differences between China and Western countries from the perspective of language. Through this research, we will not only have a better understanding of Chinese and Western cultures, but also have a deeper understanding of English-Chinese translation.

1 Introduction
In today's world, science and technology are progressing rapidly, economic globalization is surging, information dissemination is changing with each passing day, personnel exchanges are increasingly frequent, and cross-cultural exchanges are increasingly widespread. Translation, as a bridge of cross-cultural communication, plays an increasingly important role. With the continuous expansion of China's opening to the outside world, the continuous progress of science and technology, and the continuous improvement of its international status, there is an urgent need to train a large number of foreign language proficient professionals in order to speed up the process of China's "One Belt,One Road" and make our country play a more active role in international affairs. Therefore, learning English well is of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance to achieve the above goals. At the same time, English is the most widely used language in the world, so English-Chinese translation has become a top priority.
Culture is the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth created in the process of human social practice. Each country has its own culture, which is formed in the specific natural environment, historical conditions, geographical location and social reality. Due to the differences in thinking mode, natural environment, religious and historical background, customs and habits between Chinese and Western cultures, there are bound to be huge cultural differences. In this case, English-Chinese translation is even more difficult. When we translate English, we must translate it into Chinese according to the cultural characteristics of the West. For example, "dragon" in the West is the representative of evil, but in China, "dragon" is the symbol of emperor and precious symbol. It is difficult to translate English-Chinese correctly without clarifying the cultural differences.
Therefore, this thesis aims at understand the cultural characteristics and differences between China and the West, and analyze the impact of cultural differences on English-Chinese translation. Through this thesis, we can not only have a better understanding of Chinese and Western cultures, but also improve the ability of English-Chinese translation.
